Vida Sussman

Vida is an eating disorder recovery coach with a background in psychology and neuroscience. She is passionate about supporting clients as they navigate meal-related challenges and work toward a more flexible and trusting relationship with food and their bodies.

Vida works with clients between clinical appointments, helping them put treatment recommendations into practice in ways that feel realistic and manageable. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. She takes time to understand each client’s experiences, priorities, and goals, and supports them as they work through challenges and take meaningful steps forward in recovery.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour from McMaster University. Her research and volunteer experience has included work in mood disorders, self-perception, and crisis intervention. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong appreciation for careful listening, genuine connection, and helping people build confidence in their capacity for change.

In her free time, Vida enjoys hiking with her dog, learning new musical instruments, and cooking with friends.
