Sarah Krupat

Sarah Krupat is a registered dietitian who completed her degree in Nutrition and food science at Toronto Metropolitan University (previously known as Ryerson) and her Masters in public health at University of Toronto. Her clinical and practical training was done through the North York General Hospital internship program. This included rotations in specialised areas such as cardiology, diabetes, mental health, and a special focus and interest in eating disorders. 

Sarah uses Motivational Interviewing, Intuitive Eating, Mindfulness, and Health at Every Size as frameworks for her practice. She also has training in Emotion Focused Family therapy (EFFT), Family Based Therapy (FBT) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in which she pulls from during client sessions.

Sarah uses evidence based client-centred care to counsel individuals to help them heal their relationship with food. Sarah advocates that all foods can be incorporated into a balanced lifestyle without any feelings of guilt. Sarah has extensive experience working with eating disorders across the spectrum, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and ARFID.

Sarah also has an interest in working with individuals who are looking to strengthen their body image with respect to their relationship with food. When Sarah is not working, she enjoys baking, cross-stitching, and spending time with her pets.
