Adam Jordan

Adam works with people whose eating, exercise, or body image has become stressful, rigid, or difficult to manage. He also supports active individuals and athletes who want to fuel their training, build strength, and perform at their best — without food or exercise becoming another source of pressure.

Adam believes that food and movement should support a person’s life, not take it over. He helps clients develop a more flexible and compassionate relationship with eating, exercise, body image, and health. Sessions help young people and adults build nutrition and exercise habits that are safe, sustainable, and suited to their lives. His approach is non-judgmental and collaborative, drawing on Motivational Interviewing and CBT-informed strategies to identify changes clients feel ready and able to make.

Adam holds a Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition from Western University, a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food with a minor in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University. He has more than a decade of experience in fitness, sport, and recreation. His clinical training includes pediatric eating disorders and sports nutrition, and he spent five years supporting youth mental health research at CAMH.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys strength training, playing sports with friends, and exploring new foods and recipes in the kitchen.
